senior editor Morgan Michener shares shopping suggestions for the season ahead.
With spring officially here, I’m sure I’m not the only one dreaming about getting outside and doing some gardening. but because we’re still experiencing some cold weather, now might be a better time to focus on planting seeds indoors (or nurturing blooms from a local nursery). Luckily, there are plenty of attractive potting vessels out there to choose from, because houseplants are so popular these days. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites here. No green thumb? No problem. Plants also happen to be trending in all forms of decor, from wallpaper to artwork, so I’ve also found a couple pieces that are sure to bring some spring-like freshness into your rooms — no digging required.

Ikea always does a incredible job with their spring and summer products. (Always shop early, as they tend to sell out. believe me, I’ve learned this the hard way!) This shot is from their summer 2016 look book, and shows the charm of mixing different styles of vessels. I like how the Salladskal plant stand neatly wrangles a collection of small pots.
